Project Brief
- Upgrade of customised hosted SAP Sourcing V4 system to new hosted V9 system
Solution Scope
- Planning and implementing the upgrade of the existing customised solution from SAP Sourcing V4 to SAP Sourcing V9
- Engage in product evangelism to increase the usage of the system to maximise the business ROI
My Responsibilities
- Created and delivered a costed estimate based upon customer requirements and required timelines
- Developed and maintained project plans, budgets and logs Used an Agile approach with three iterations – customer requested some changes to the system in order to maximise ROI so I implemented these as a series of enhancement requests – analogous to user stories
- Ran weekly internal and customer progress meetings, delivered weekly reports internally and to the customer senior stakeholders
- Facilitated regional workshops with the UK, the Americas and the asiapacific regions to gain user feedback for incorporation into enhancement requests
- Accountable for all project phases, including responsibility for comprehensive test plan creation and test management
Outcome
- Upgrade successful and increased utilisation of platform achieved, project delivered on time and on budget
